Our Customer's Vision
The homeowners wanted to transform their small master bathroom into a space that felt open, functional, and far less crowded. Their goals included a curbless shower and a layout that allowed natural light from the window to flow into the room. A key part of achieving this vision was relocating the bathroom door. This was something they had been told wasn’t possible by other contractors, but they knew it was essential to making the space work.
Things we had to keep in mind
With such a limited footprint, every inch of the bathroom mattered. Moving the door required thoughtful planning to ensure the new layout improved circulation without compromising structure or usability. We also needed to account for proper drainage and waterproofing for the curbless shower while maintaining clean sightlines and a sense of openness. The goal was to remove visual and physical barriers so the bathroom felt larger, brighter, and more comfortable without expanding the space itself.
Layout changes, door relocation, and the curbless shower installation had to be carefully coordinated to minimize disruption and ensure a smooth build process. By sequencing each phase intentionally, we were able to execute the remodel efficiently while delivering a finished space that feels thoughtfully designed and purpose-built for everyday use.
